Available Resource
Advancement Workshop
Prepare for the Clinical Nursing Advancement process by watching the recorded Advancement Workshop. The workshop provides an overview of the Traditional BSN and Accelerated BSN programs, required application materials, the advancement process, and the health and safety requirements.
Course Information Worksheet Drop-In
Edson College strongly encourages all applicants to attend a drop-in advising session before submitting the Clinical Nursing Advancement Application. These sessions provide an opportunity to review your application, verify the accuracy of your information, and ask questions before the priority deadline.
Before attending a drop-in advising session, students should ensure their official TEAS score is on file with ASU and the Course Information Worksheet (CIW) is completed. Having these items ready allows advisors to provide a thorough review and help identify any issues.
Direct admission students are not required to attend drop-in advising sessions for a CIW review, as the CIW is not part of the direct admission application. However, drop-in advising is still available for students with questions about the advancement process or who would like assistance before submitting their application.
The drop-in advising schedule is provided below.

Step 8: Create your Complio account and submit health and safety documents.

Spring 2027 Health and Safety Deadlines
September 1, 2026: To stay on track, you must set up your Complio account and add the compliance package. Instructions can be found in the advancement guide.
October 1, 2026: You are required to complete all health and safety requirements, except the drug screening, criminal background check, and statement of health clearance. If you do not complete these requirements by the deadline, you will not be considered for advancement.
November 1, 2026 (estimated): If you are selected for advancement or alternate status, you will receive additional instructions for completing the remaining health and safety requirements. Failing to complete these steps by the given deadline will result in the loss of your advancement or alternate status.
The advancement guide provides step-by-step instructions (including the passcode: PRETRK) for setting up your Complio and adding the compliance package. You can also use the health and safety checklist as a helpful tool to stay organized, but it does not replace the full details in the advancement guides.
